T42 Mutual action plan for enterprise deals
Mutual action plan for enterprise deals

Every step, owner and date between Marrow Capital and Vaultline from technical evaluation to a signed contract, agreed by both teams. Maintained jointly; either side can propose a change with a reason.
Sample template: the firm, people, clients and figures are fictional and shown for illustration only.
Live example from the Dashboards app, shown with Harborline Logistics's demo data.
The path to signature
We are in step 2 of 4. The security review closed with one open item, the business continuity test, tracked separately in the security pack; it does not block this step.

What is at risk
Reference calls not yet scheduled
Marrow Capital requested two customer reference calls on Sep 15, and none are scheduled as of Sep 22. Owner: Grace Whitfield to send available times; Dana Okafor to confirm two reference customers within 48 hours of receiving them. If not scheduled by Sep 26, the business case sign-off target of Oct 8 is at risk, which pushes the whole plan past the Nov 14 target.
Both sides agree that a slipping reference-call date is the single largest risk to the Nov 14 target. Everything after the business case sign-off, legal redlines and procurement exceptions, assumes roughly four weeks of runway; losing two of those weeks to a scheduling delay leaves little room for the redline exchange to run its normal course.
Three out of five today. Dana and Grace agree this moves to four once the reference calls are on the calendar, and to five once the business case is in front of the Marrow CFO.

How we track progress
Three of eight steps are done. The plan stays realistic only if both sides update it weekly rather than only when something slips.
Weekly check-in
Every Tuesday at 10:00 ET, Dana and Grace review this page for 15 minutes: confirm what moved, flag what is at risk, and update dates rather than silently letting them pass. The next check-in is Sep 29, 2026.
How to use this template
Duplicate this page per enterprise opportunity once technical evaluation begins. Replace the values below from the CRM opportunity record; if a date is not yet agreed with the buyer, write Needs review rather than inventing one.
| Variable | Meaning | Required |
|---|---|---|
{{deal.buyer_name}} | Buyer company and division | Required |
{{deal.size}} | Licensed users or contract value and term | Required |
{{deal.target_signature_date}} | Jointly agreed target signature date | Required |
{{deal.ae_name}} | Vendor account executive who owns the plan | Required |
{{deal.buyer_evaluation_lead}} | Buyer's named evaluation lead | Required |
{{step.at_risk_description}} | Any step at risk, its owner and the deadline to recover | Optional |
Update this page weekly with both parties present; a plan that only one side edits stops being mutual.
