T27 Maintenance retainer monthly report
Maintenance retainer monthly report

What Brightframe delivered under Cedar & Stone's website care plan in September: the care review, the accepted build and the work still open on the site we maintain. Prepared by the web delivery lead for the client's marketing lead.
What the care plan covers
The care plan covers monitoring, fixes, accessibility work and small content changes on the existing site. New features, such as the proposed calculator, are scoped as separate changes so their cost stays visible and planned care work is not delayed.
Sample template: the firm, people, clients and figures are fictional and shown for illustration only.
Care and launch checks
Links and acceptance are complete. Launch content is the open item: one of three gaps is supplied and the two service FAQs are with Cedar & Stone's service leads.
Work by category
| Category | This month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Care review | 6 links fixed, 1 form issue open | Hosting logs needed before severity is confirmed |
| Acceptance testing | Build 28, 11 of 11 passed | Same script as build 27, which passed 9 of 11 |
| Launch content | 5 pages ready, 1 of 3 gaps supplied | No placeholder copy goes live |
| Change requests | Calculator moved to a separate change | Discovery accepted Aug 20; the care plan stays as agreed |
Releases and work in progress
- Sep 10: Build 28 accepted. On build 27, the mobile form confirmation and one keyboard path failed; Theo consolidated the feedback that had arrived against two builds, and build 28 passed the same script with Simon's explicit acceptance.
- Sep 18: Care review completed. 6 broken campaign links fixed; 1 degraded form response under investigation.
- Oct 2 (planned): Form retest.
- Oct 6 (planned): Final page check before the launch pages go live.
Risks and issues
One form response is degraded
The care review found a degraded response on the consultation form. Cause: not yet confirmed; hosting logs are needed before we can judge its severity. We recommend keeping the incident open until a successful retest on Oct 2. If closed early, a real fault could keep affecting consultation requests without anyone watching for it.
Launch pages wait for two FAQs
Five launch pages are ready, but two service FAQs are still missing. Owner: Cedar & Stone's service leads, assigned by Simon. Target: before the Oct 6 final page check. The pages do not go live with placeholder copy.
Recommendations for October
Site health this month
| Signal | Target | September result | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Broken campaign links | None open | 6 found, 6 fixed | |
| Consultation form response | Healthy | 1 degraded response, under investigation | |
| Acceptance script | All tests pass | 11 of 11 on build 28 | |
| Launch content | No placeholders | 2 FAQs outstanding |
Having the calculator split out as its own change made the care plan easy to explain internally. I can see what is maintenance and what is new work.
Next review
Next monthly report: Friday, Oct 30, 2026. The October report will confirm the form retest result and whether the launch pages went live.
How to use this template
Duplicate this page once per client and month. Replace the values below; if a required value is missing, write Unavailable next to the metric rather than estimating it.
| Variable | Meaning | Required |
|---|---|---|
{{client.name}} | Client the care plan covers | Required |
{{care.review_findings}} | Issues found and fixed in the monthly care review | Required |
{{acceptance.result}} | Latest build tested and its acceptance result | Required |
{{scope.change_requests}} | Requests moved to separate changes, with status | Optional |
{{risk.description}} | Any open risk, with cause, recommendation and consequence | Optional |
{{next.review_date}} | Date of the next monthly report | Required |
The live checklist and roadmap come from the Dashboards app for this client. Close an incident only after a successful retest, never on the assumption that a fix worked.
